Venue Description

Recognized as the "Best Minor League Ballpark in America" by prominent publications such as Baseball America and Sports Illustrated, Victory Field opened its gates July 11, 1996, and serves as home of the Indianapolis Indians, Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The ballpark is also home to the annual City, County, and High School Baseball State Championships. On July 11, 2001, Victory Field hosted the Triple-A All-Star Game.

Located at the corner of West and Maryland Streets in downtown Indianapolis, Victory Field offers a spectacular view of the Indianapolis skyline. The $20 million facility boasts many unique features including an open concourse that offers a great view of the playing field throughout the ballpark, festival-style lawn seating, and angled outfield seats that hug the foul lines. With 12,202 permanent stadium seats and room for approximately 2,000 fans in the lawn, the ballpark can comfortably accommodate crowds of 14,202. Victory Field also features 28 luxury suites, five suite-level party areas, and two large picnic areas.

General Information
More than 6,400 parking spaces are located within seven blocks of Victory Field. The Government Center Garage (evenings and weekends only), on the northeast corner of West and Maryland, holds 2,900 cars and costs $5. Parking is also available at Indiana State Museum, Eiteljorg Museum, White River State Park, Indianapolis Zoo, Diamond Chain off Kentucky Ave. and Tavern on South on South St. between Missouri and West streets, all for $5 on most game days.

Accessible Parking
The Indianapolis Indians offer forty seven (47) handicap accessible parking spaces for home games. The cost is $5.00 per space. They are on a first-come-first-serve basis and are available four (4) hours before game time.

Bus Parking
Due to space limitations and safety concerns, fan buses and RVs are not allowed to park in the Victory Field parking lot. Buses may drop off outside of the Right Field Gate on West St. Bus parking can be found at the Indianapolis Zoo.

Weekday Afternoon Parking
The Indianapolis Indians offer a convenient option on our Business Day Game. Starting 90 minutes before the game until 30 minutes after the game, fans can park at Lucas Oil Stadium in Gate 1 off of Missouri St for $5 and ride a complementary shuttle to the ballpark.
