Showers, Parties and Rehearsal Dinners at Tina's Traditional Tearoom

If you are looking for a unique venue for a special party or special event, then you've come to the right place.

Tina’s Traditional Tearoom is ideal for every occasion including:

We have created three (3) special "tearooms"/areas inside for you to chose from...

The Parlor which is one section that can seat up to 25 in two long table configurations. A table for holding gifts is provided with an extra table for gift opening/ celebration cake presentation. The dining tables are covered in lace and china cups and glass goblets. The High Tea menu options, are served on vintage ivory cake stands and fresh flowers are on the table. This is THE ideal space for a baby shower or bridal shower.

The Royal Room, which is another section that seats up to 12. An additional table for holding and opening gifts is provided. This is the idea space for a Children's Birthday Party or a Milestone Birthday, or special gathering.

The Main Tearoom is available for private evening events by request. There is seating for up to 62 inside and a further 20 outside in good weather.

You can also request party favors and an iced celebration cake to your own specification, baked by our craft bakers on site.

We recommend coming in to view the space and discuss your options. Joining us for lunch is also a great way of trying out the food, space and service before you commit.

Booking a party is easy. You just need to confirm that your preferred dates are available and we’ll reserve you your tables. Please feel free to come in and talk through your table layout and options.

Child's High Tea
Mornings start at 11am and afternoons at 1.30pm. This allows for 2 hrs of reserved party time, plus time for your tables to be cleared and reset for the next party/day.

Party space tends to be scheduled on a Saturday or Sunday, but we can also accommodate your group in the week as well and we are now open Mondays, unlike many restaurants in the area. Evening or early mornings are also possible by request and room hire fees will apply.

Fancy Champagne, Mimosas or a glass of Wine to celebrate your special occasion.
Tina’s Traditional is now licensed to serve beer and wine. Priced by the glass. Make sure you state this requirement when you book.

We don’t require a deposit or charge a room fee like most venues and want to make this as easy as possible for you, but the space wont be completely private as we will be serving other guests in different parts of the tearoom. *Room hire fees will only apply if out of hours/evening private event space rental is requested. Hire fees start at $150. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

You will need to confirm your parties final number and menu no later than the Monday prior to your event date, to ensure your group requirements are included on the weekly bake schedule. Shortbread favors, celebration cake etc. If your party is a no-show or a cancellation is made within 24 hrs, there is a cancellation fee of $100 and we trust you respect that.

"I had my baby shower here and it was one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a long time. Tina made everyone feel so at home. We felt like we were leaving a family members house by the end. My mom said she was even reading to one of the kids when we were opening gifts. The kids had a blast and ate every bite of their prince and princess lunch. (and we have some picky eaters in our bunch) Tina was very helpful by informing us about the foods and drinks. This made ordering a breeze and everyone loved what they got. Everything was well executed and organizing the event was a breeze. Tina was always in contact and made the process so easy. Would highly recommend them for any event or just a fun day out with little ones. Tina did a great job making a special day even more memorable."

Free customer-only parking is available to the rear of the building (the signs say Parking for 30 N Rangeline Rd which is us!). There is also a parking garage available directly behind us.
