Venue Description

The Pavilion Center was one of the many facilities added to the Park during the 2010 expansion and is fast becoming one of the most sought after special event venues in not just Hendricks County, but surroundings counties and municipalities as well! Nestled at the back edge of Washington Township Park, the Pavilion Center is surrounded by green space, a wooded tree line, and a pond off of the back covered patio. This beautiful building boasts exposed knotty pine beams, high peak ceilings, lots of natural light and a modern alternative to a park-like setting. With available seating for up to 300 guests, the Pavilion Center is the perfect place for wedding ceremonies and receptions, business meetings, conferences, family reunions, birthday parties and much, much more!

The Pavilion Center comes equipped with a state of the art sound system. The sound system includes the use of our audio equipment capable of hooking up to an MP3 player, computer or any other device via an auxiliary cable. The sound system also includes a wireless microphone and movie quality speakers! Each of the three rooms contains speakers, a drop-down projector screen, and projector.

Your Rental Package Includes:

• Prep room with full size refrigerator, oven (no stove-top), warmer and full size ice machine

• Eight 8-foot banquet tables

• Eight high-top cocktail tables

• 30 6-foot round tables

• 300+ chairs

• Fireplace (seasonal)

• Decorative fountain in the pond (seasonal)

• Sound system with microphone and auxiliary adapter for mp3 players, computer, etc.

If you are using a GPS device, the coordinates to the Pavilion Center are 39°45'09.78"N 86°25'09.02'W

From I-465: Travel westbound on Rockville Rd (US 36). Once you get into Avon at Raceway and US 36 you will travel through Avon. When you get to the intersection of US 36 and SR 267 you will go through 2 stoplights. Once past the stoplights and over White Lick Creek you will go up a hill. There is a brown sign that says Washington Township Park. Turn left onto 575 E. The main park is on your left and the PawPark is on your right. Take 575 E. to Broyles Rd and turn left. Pavilion Center is approx 1 mile from this point. Travel on Broyles Rd go past the yellow gates, down the hill, and past the parks maintenance building that is on your left. Once past the parks building you will need to stay to the right and take Whipple Ln. back to the Pavilion Center, amphitheatre and play areas. The playground will be on your right; the Amphitheatre will be on your left the Pavilion is just past the Amphitheatre.   

Distance from I 465 is approximately 8.25 miles and time is approximately 20-25 minutes.

From I-74: Travel on SR 267 southbound to US 36. Turn right onto US36 heading westbound you will go through 2 stoplights. Once past the stoplights, over White Lick Creek you will be going up a hill. There is a brown sign that says Washington Township Park. Turn left onto 575 E. The main park is on your left and the Paw Park is on your right. Take 575 E. to Broyles Rd and turn left. Pavilion Center is approx 1 mile from this point. Travel on Broyles Rd go past the yellow gates, down the hill, and past the parks maintenance building that is on your left. Once past the parks building you will need to stay to the right and take Whipple Ln. back to the Pavilion Center, amphitheatre and play areas. The playground will be on your right; the Amphitheatre will be on your left the Pavilion is just past the Amphitheatre.   

Distance from I 74 is approximately 8.00 miles and time is approximately 20-25 minutes.

From I-70: Travel northbound on SR 267 to US 40 and turn left onto US 40. The next stoplight will be Dan Jones-turn right. Take Dan Jones for approximately 4 miles to US 36 and turn left onto US 36. Once on US 36 you will go past SR 267 through 2 stoplights. Once past the stoplights, over White Lick Creek you will be going up a hill. There is a sign that says WashingtonTownship Park. Turn left onto 575 E. The main park is on your left and the Paw Park is on your right. Take 575 E. to Broyles Rd and turn left. Pavilion Center is approx 1 mile from this point. Travel on Broyles Rd go past the yellow gates, down the hill, and past the parks maintenance building that is on your left. Once past the parks building you will need to stay to the right and take Whipple Ln. back to the Pavilion Center, amphitheatre and play areas.
